Sullivan Township Trustees Attendance: Douglas Campbell, Chairman The meeting was called to order at 7:05PM by Chairman Douglas Campbell followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Mark Hickey stated that the trustees had not properly announced the meeting being moved to Tuesday night. He turned in a letter stating his thoughts on this and excused himself from the meeting. Mr. Hickey then left the meeting. Douglas Campbell stated that the fiscal officer had not posted a notice in the paper about the events of the organizational meeting and thus was at fault for the meeting not being announced. The fiscal officer stated that the trustees had set the meetings for the first and third Mondays of each month and had not made allowance for holidays. Duane Jenkins stated that he had spoken with Assistant Prosecutor Paul O’Reilly about holding the meeting and had been told that if the trustees were comfortable with the public notice of the meeting, then they could hold the meeting. After a brief discussion, Duane Jenkins made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:10PM with a second by Douglas Campbell. Douglas Campbell allowed those in attendance to speak their thoughts stating that they were no longer in a business meeting. The trustees set a special meeting on January 25 at 7:30PM to conduct township business.
