Sullivan Township Trustee Attendance: Duane Jenkins-Vice Chairman Jenkins called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Meeting is being taped for the benefit of the Township. Campbell was not present because he was out of town. September 15, 2008 minutes was tabled until next meeting. Jenkins moved to pay the bills. Hickey second Roll call all yes. Hickey stated he would like the minutes to reflect he would not sign the check for Savannah Motors for the snow plow for the pickup truck because he voted no at a previous meeting. Jenkins stated they made a motion to pay the bills and that was part of the bills. Hickey did agree to sign the check since Campbell was not present. Public Concerns Johnson informed the Trustees about the holes in the chip and seal and the water that is standing on Twp. Rd 391. Gary stated he will have the holes and water problems resolved by the end of the month. Johnson asked the Trustees if the Township Equipment is required to have working backup beeper, because the beeper wasn’t working on the grader. The Trustees informed him yes they are supposed to be in working order. Gary will take care of this. Peggy Skinner asked about the food in the freezer at the Fire Station. Carol Stasick suggested it needs to be thrown away because it’s past the expiration date. Fiscal Officer Report Informed the Trustees the Township had a return check on a Building Permit for Non Sufficient Funds. Fiscal Officer tried to contact the person about this matter but they didn’t return any calls. Turned over mail to Hickey and Jenkins, Fiscal Officer will mail Susan Denbow her mail. Fire Report Chief Shelton informed the Trustees the foam pump has been repaired but the foam gage still needs repaired. Shelton stated Scott Bradish has stated his Fire Class. Shelton in informed the Trustees that the new Squad will be at the Homecoming game. Shelton and the Trustees discussed when to have Halloween. Jenkins moved to have Halloween on Friday October 31, 2008 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. Hickey second Roll call all yes. Zoning Report Spieker turned in his monthly report. Spieker informed the Trustees he would check into a permit for the Driving Range on US 224 because there is a sign up that says Tool Rental to see if this is permitted. EMS Report Road Report Trustee Report Hickey question Gary about the tap for the Dust Bond since the weather is starting to get cold and he has concerns about it freezing. Gary stated he has one more load of Dust Bond to apply and he will be done by October 20, 2008 Hickey stated he will contact Andy to pick the tap up. There was a discussion about the Veteran’s Day Dinner it will be held on November 11, 2008 from 6:00-8:30. Jenkins moved to adjourn at 7:40P.M. Hickey second Roll call all yes.
