Sullivan Township Trustee Attendance Duane Jenkins Chairman
Jenkins stated he will delay the Meeting until 7:05 P.M. to give Hickey time to be present Jenkins announced the reason for the Special Meeting is to make a decision on bidding the Township Mowing out or purchasing a Mower and hiring two part time people to do the Mowing. Jenkins stated he would like to bid the Mowing out. Campbell was in favor of purchasing the Zero Turn Kubota Mower. Gary explained how well built the Kubota is. Public Concerns All Residents present was in favor of the Trustees bidding the Mowing out because it would take Gary away from working on the Roads and Ditching. Hickey came in at 7:15 P.M. Hickey stated they should hire Paul Lower and Ken Webb back since they are collecting unemployment from the Township. Jenkins moved to purchase the Kubota Mower for $9,900.00 Campbell second Roll call all yes. Campbell moved to post an ad in the Ashland Times Gazette for two part time employees at $9.00 per hour. Resumes must be received by June 1, 2009 7:30 P.M. to be opened at the Trustee Regular Business Meeting.
