Sullivan Township Trustee Attendance Duane Jenkins Chairman Jenkins called the Meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Jenkins announced the Meeting is being taped for the benefit of the Township. Campbell moved to pay the monthly bills Jenkins second Roll call all yes Jenkins moved by Resolution to appoint Campbell to the Water Board for the next four consecutive terms. Campbell second Roll call Campbell yes Jenkins yes. The Trustees and Fiscal Office signed the Water Board paperwork. Hickey was not present at the meeting. Campbell stated that one of the reasons for the Special Meeting is because the bill for the Drug License is due on December 27. 2009 and the check needs to be signed. Also, to discuss and take action on A Legal Opinion from the Prosecutors Office on an alleged violation of the ORC at the property of Mark Hickey 470 US Highway 224 Sullivan, Ohio 44880 Jenkins read the letter that is being sent to Mr. Mark Hickey by certified mail with a return receipt. The letter is attached to the Minutes. Jenkins moved by Resolution to move forward according to the Prosecutors Opinion with the alleged violation on Mr. Mark Hickey Campbell second Roll call Campbell yes Jenkins yes. Fiscal Officer gave Peggy Skinner a copy of the Legal Opinion Fire and EMS Report Keith Rowe turned the EMS run sheets to the Township and copies to be sent to Ohio Billing Shinsky informed the Trustees that when Gary was Fire Chief he ordered a CO Monitor with a 36 month warranty and the warranty has expired and the monitor does not work. Shinsky presented a quote from Warren Fire Equipment Inc. for A CO Monitor with an extended warranty. Cost $1107.57. Campbell moved to approve the purchase for the CO Monitor. Jenkins second Roll call all yes. Zoning Report Skinner stated that she issued four permits and there is one permit set for a hearing by the Appeals Board. Public Concerns Rich Johnson stated that Twp. Rd. 150 needs to be graded. John Storch asked the Trustees about the ditch on Twp. Rd. 150. The trustees stated that Gary can use the 12” pipe that is in the Garage at the school. The trustee’s asked how much pipe is at the school, Shinsky stated about 300 to 340 feet. Jenkins stated that should be enough pipes to do the job.
