Minutes from our April 23, 2007 meeting

Bud Jantz opened our meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance on April 23, 2007 at 7:08 pm.

Peg Skinner read the minutes from our April 9, 2007 meeting, Jean Reams made a motion to accept our minutes as read with a second from Rich Johnson. (All in favor).

Nova Zoning Commission was present. We had discussed the top Zoning Issues and problems with the Townships.

We took a Break at 8:00 and back in session at 8:15 pm.

With both Nova and Sullivan Commission Boards we have decided to host a Northern Ashland County Zoning Board of Commission Meeting with the surrounding 6 Townships, Jackson, Orange, Troy, Ruggles, Clearcreek and Sullivan.

Our goals are to discuss the top 3 Zoning problems and Issues in these Townships we feel as though a lot of the problems would be somewhat of the same issues and maybe with everyone involved we could come up with a solution to all these issues.

There needs to be a letter drawn up for the invite to this Zoning meeting with the date and time, location, and letting the other Townships have the opportunity to be involved.

The goal of this letter should state Unite in our common interest and goals for the better of the Townships.

We would also state that there should be at least on or more of the board members present and they should bring there Zoning Resolution Books with them, and during one of their own meeting ask all there board members to jot down 3 of their Zoning problems or Issues that their Township faces.

This meeting would be hosted by Sullivan Zoning and Troy Zoning Board of Commission and should be set in mid or late July of 2007.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 pm.
