Minutes from our March 10, 2008 meeting

Bud Jantz called our meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance on March 10, 2008 at 7:03 pm.

Peg Skinner read the minutes from our Feb 25, 2008, Jean Reams made a motion to accept the minutes as amended with a second from Rich Johnson.

Janice Steele was present with her report and a couple of issues, 2 residents on same parcel? Regarding General Farm, R-1, R-2 , C., and I. Explained to the resident on 281, Rules are Rules and need to live with it.

Took Break at 7:50 pm back in session at  8:00 pm.

Went into work session on signs!!!!!!!!!
Rural Center 2- 3x5 sq.ft.
Table this issue until next meeting.

 Commerical:
Bud made a motion to change A.1) pg 44 in new book 11 sq. ft to 33 sq. ft on the size of the signs with a 40 foot setback from the right of way.
Jean Reams-yes, Rich Johnson-yes, Peg Skinner-yes, Sharon Patterson-yes, Bud Jantz-yes and John Storch present.

Bud Jantz made a motion to change 31 sq. ft  to 34 sq. ft or greater keep the 50-foot setback from the right of way.

Do to the fact that the clerk wasn’t present at the Trustee’s Meeting the checks for the Zoning Seminar may not make it in time to fill the slots, so we decided to pay for our own slot.
John Storch and Rich Johnson had given Secretary Peg Skinner $45.00 ea. To pay for their slots.

Carol Stasick from Zoning Board of Appeals also decided to pay for her own slot.

Sharon Patterson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:17 pm with a second from Bud Jantz.
