Minutes from the May 12, 2008 meeting.

Bud Jantz called the meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:02 pm.

Peg Skinner read the minutes from our April 28, 2008 meeting Sharon Patterson made a motion to accept the minutes as read with a change to Jim Zarfais statement against the Board, It wasn’t the Board that turned a letter into the paper on Mark Hickey. Confirmed the NIMS Training for the Board of Commission.

David Speiker Interim Zoning Inspector- Mr. Geoff- applied for the permit for the Country View Church, falls in General Farm under the semi-public uses, Needs to go thru Richland County to stay up with the standard building codes.

Took break at 7:45 pm and back in session at 7:58 pm.
Bud Jantz and John Storch meet with Tim Cooper at Ashland County Planning.

? For Tim Cooper can we include the word deeded to # 209-211-212 to read as deeded lot of record? (Or ask for a legal opinion!).

Also need a legal opinion on if you remove an existing mobile home because of it falling apart do you have to apply for a new home permit.

Need written in stone about not using back roads for semi use.

Mark Hickey brought up about No Thru Truck signs. Also brought up the fact that our Industrial Zone is to long and also would like to see the Commercial Zone be extended to the east of town.

Gentleman with no name, Bud Jantz had asked him to state his name for the record and he stated we didn’t need his name, became a little disruptive and meeting was adjourned.

Bud Jantz made a motion to adjourned the meeting at 8:40 pm with a second from Jean Reams.
