There has been a lengthy discussion about the Zoning Fee Schedule, The Zoning Board of Commission has let it be known that the Sullivan Trustees are responsible for setting the fee schedule according to the O.R.C.
We the Board have voiced our opinion of these fees.

The Board strongly feels that the charge for a New Home Permit should not be three (3) different fees because two (2) of them need to go thru the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Major & Minor Renovation- Should be removed from the Fee Schedule because we feel a Homeowner pays enough for a permit to build therefore they should not have to pay for another permit to renovate the home they have built.
Accessory Building: (Residential)
This should not be three (3) different fees.
Decks and Patios:
This should not be two (2) different fees
 Residential Pools:
It should state that all in-ground swimming pools should have a 4foot high fence around the pool.
Commercial/Industrial:
Major Renovation & Minor Renovation:
Should be removed from the fee schedule.
Outdoor Advertising Sign:
This fee should be much higher.
Sanitary Landfill/ Mineral Extraction:
This should be removed from the fee schedule because the Township has no authority to regulate a fee.
Document request in excess of twenty (20) pages must be made in writing remove anyone can request copies verbally or in writing. But the fee should remain for the copying, to cover the costs of the copying.
These were just opinions of the Commission Board, This was being done at the request of Trustee Douglas Campbell: Therefore there has been no vote or motion from the Zoning Commission Board to adopt these fees. This will be entirely up to the Sullivan Township Trustees:

Table garages until next meeting.
