Sullivan Township Zoning Commissions Minutes

Chairman Bud Jantz called our meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 pm.
Chairman Bud Jantz has asked everyone in attendance to please place all cell phones on vibrate or turn them off.
Vice Chairman John Storch has handed out a draft of the 351 Variance: and 803 Powers and Duties of the Board.

WENT INTO WORK SESSION at 7:05 p.m.

Worked on the 351 Variance & 803 Powers and Duties of the Board and worked on the 619 Residential Enterprise Business,
Article #619 Limit it to one Business per parcel/per land owner.
Article #619 line 12 Remove capable of being.

Pg 32 Article #351- Should read as per the handout that Vice Chairman John Storch has taken from the Ohio Revised Code.

Article #803-pages 65 & 66- The Board feels that they need some conditions set forth in the Resolution Book.
 Line #4 on page 66 needs to go.
Sub Paragraph (B) should read Ashland County Comprehension Land Use Plan.
Sub Paragraph (C) Change with handout with #2 Sub paragraph (C).

ZONING INSPECTOR’S REPORT-
Peg Skinner has discussed the Junk yard issues, has went to the Sheriff’s Office and handed Sgt. Sims a certified copy of our Zoning Resolution Book, this makes the job easier for the Sheriff’s Office in issuing a License for Junk Yard if the are not in compliance with the Township Resolution then they can not be issued a License for a Junk yard. Junkyards are only allowed in the Industrial District under a Conditional Use Permit.
Vice Chairman John Storch will look into the articles relating to Junk and Nuisance via the Ohio Revised Code and try to draft something and place in the Resolution Book.
Peg Skinner to bring paper work regarding Nuisance.

Jean Reams made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:46 pm. With a second from John Storch meeting adjourned.
